In the beginning...
LifePoint Pentecostal Church had its start in 2008. Boarn out of the prayers of Lincoln Parish residents with a desire to see an Apostolic Church firmly rooted in the area. From humble beginnings in prayer meetings in the home of those original members, LifePoint elected its first pastor Jathan Maricelli. The church began meeting in his home, coverting a small living room into a sanctuary of worship and prayer.
In 2009, the church purchased and rennovated what is now the LifePoint Event Center at 1018 S. Vienna Street in Ruston. That building was ground zero for praise, worship, baptisms, wedding, and revival for the next 15 years.
Pastor Thomas Ussery and his family were elected to serve LifePoint Church in 2019. They previously served the churchesand communities of North Louisisana as UPCI Louisiana Section 10 youth directors for 6 years and ministry assistants in Jackson Parish for 17 years. They brought a passion for youth and childrens ministry and a hunger for soul winning to their newly elected role as senior pastors.

Unity & Vision
Up the road about 15 minutes, Dubach United Pentecostal Church had a nearly 70 year history of living, serving, and worshipping in Lincoln Parish. Planted out of a tent revival in 1948, it was one of the longest established apostolic works in the area. In 2020, Pastor Doug Stewart and his wife Rosemary received direction from God to unify LifePoint and Dubach under one roof. With the support of an amazing church body, the merger was accomplished within 6 short months, and LifePoint is now one body with 70 years of apostolic Pentecostal heritage and a vision to reach all of Lincoln Parish with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Blessings & Growth
Just when we thougt we couldn't fit one more person in the room, God blessed LifePoint with a new home at 2505 S. Vienna Street. It's more than just a new building. It is our opportunity to serve you and your family. Nursery, Toddler, Elementary, Youth, and Adult classes. A Sanctuary of Worship for 300 people. It is a place to come together with the whole family to praise Jesus each and every week.
